Outlook for Someday projects

Our class was looking at the outlook for someday young film maker competion. It was part of our Sustainability inquiry. Sheridan, Zion and I were doing our project on cultural identity. We had a few ideas on the movie but unfortunately we didnt finish the movie.

We were going to try convince people the importance of sustaining culture but our main purpose was to tryto sustain Taiaha, Kapa Haka and Pacific Island dances.

Unfortunately we didn't finish the movie but people thought it had potnetial.  We mucked around too much and didn't finish it which was disappointing.

Something that I learned from this project that did not know before was how to use iMovie.

* Information: Learning taiaha kupu (words).

* Process: how to make a movie.

The part of this project that was most challenging for me was doing the taiaha secene because Sheri and Zion couldn't keep in time.

The part of this project I found most rewarding was teaching Sheri how to do taiaha.

The thing I need to improve on the most is time management because I mucked around a lot.

The thing I found that I am really good at is teaching taiaha.

If I had to do another Outlook for Someday movie, the things I would do differently are: Find time for our movie and don't muck around when were planning.  I would think who I wanted to work with so can finish.
